Violent street fight in Croydon leaves man lying unconscious

Dramatic video shows a vicious London brawl where a man in his 40s is beaten to the ground and left unconscious in the street.

The video, taken from inside a bus by a driver in Croydon, shows a group of five people fighting on the street - one of whom can be seen striking his opponent with a baton-like object. 

The concerned driver issues a 'code red', alerting police to the fight on Katharine Street at 3.30am on July 13, when one participant collapses to the ground after taking a severe beating.
