Design of sports glasses for dogs
Rowen and Ken De of California, a couple noted that their dog is having trouble picking up a frisbee dish because of the sun falling on his eyes. Because of this, they both thought of creating glasses suitable for dogs to protect their eyes from the sun.
Both couples made the "Doggles" in 1997, and after people saw their dog wearing glasses, they were asked to design similar glasses. As demand grew, business became a business. In 2002, they ordered about 30,000 glasses from a Taiwanese company and then distributed them to retail stores specializing in pet supplies. The total revenue of "Doggles" glasses is about $ 3 million!
